Building & Pest Inspections
Our Pre-Purchase Building Inspections incorporate both building defect and timber pest inspections to ensure the property and its surrounds are sound before you buy.
We use the latest techniques including thermal imaging to detect any building issues including structural problems, structural damage, safety hazards and more.
Building Stage Inspections
When building a new property it is important you get inspections at certain stages of the build, including foundation stage, frame stage, lock-up stage, fixing stage, and handover or practical completion. ABIS can complete any one or all 6 stage inspections for you, giving you reports independent of your builder so you can make stage payments with confidence.
Handover Inspections & Reports
A Handover Report or Practical Completion Report completes the inspection process for your building and it is ABIS’ ultimate comprehensive inspection. It is specifically designed to give you the peace of mind to make your final builder’s payment.
As a follow-up service, ABIS also offer you a Warranty Inspection to assess any issue that may have occurred within the first 12 months of completion.
Warranty Building Inspections
Once you have moved into your new home it can be devastating to find defects in the building. An ABIS Warranty Inspection conducted within 12 months of completion gives you strong independent evidence to ensure that your builder rectifies all those annoying non-structural defects under the Queensland Home Warranty Insurance Scheme at no expense to you.
