Kippa-Ring (4021)
About 25 km north of Brisbane on the Redcliffe peninsula, Kippa-Ring (4021) is the hub of commercial, industrial and retail activity with two large recently refurbished shopping centres housing major retailers and a cinema complex. Kippa-Ring will also be the site of the new rail terminus linking Redcliffe to Brisbane through North Lakes, expected to open in the near future.
It is also home to Botanical gardens, a very large Football club with its extensive entertainment/health precinct of restaurants and fitness classes, a number of playing fields and sporting clubs, two schools and a college. As of 2011, Kippa-Ring had a population of about 10,000 people.
