Drewvale (4116)
Situated about 29 km to Brisbane’s south and bordering Logan, Drewvale (4116) is strategically located for easy access to Brisbane and surrounding suburbs at the nexus of the Gateway and Logan Motorways. Originally, it was farmed in the 1879s by the Drew family but wasn’t formally recognised as a suburb until 1971.
In 2011, about 4000 people lived in Drewvale, their average age is 31 years. About half of its residents were born overseas in countries including India, South Africa, and Fiji with Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabis, and Romanian spoken alongside English at home.
