Building Inspection Chuwar

Chuwar (4306)

Located some 30 km to Brisbane’s west, Chuwar (4306) is a leafy residential suburb known for its Colleges Crossing, a popular weekend tourist spot with walking trails, barbecues for picnicking and access to the Brisbane River for fishing and swimming. However, the Crossing also makes it vulnerable to flooding as occurred in 2011.

Chukar has a village feel with a community shopping centre, produce store, several churches, and service station. It has easy access to a major road into Ipswich as well as a highway into Brisbane and Toowoomba. It has been proposed that an extension to this highway will connect Chuwar to the Western Freeway at Fig Tree Pocket, bypassing Kenmore and decreasing travel time into Brisbane city.

In 2011, 1909 people lived in Chuwar, their average age being 34 years. Most residents were anglo-Australian, with a minority also from South Africa, with almost all speaking English exclusively at home.

Established 30 years, ABIS Building and pest inspectors cover the whole of Southeast Queensland. Our close knit team focused on helping you buy or sell your home.

ABIS inspectors are all long term highly qualified and experienced employees.
