Seven Hills (4170)
Seven Hills (4170) is situated 5 km on the Eastside of Brisbane’s CBD and was named so in the1920s by a local property agent after Rome’s famous hills. In 1912 a steam train service was extended to the area but cancelled in 1926 to be replaced by a trolley bus service in 1953 which was shut down in 1969 with the advent of diesel buses.
As of 2011, Seven Hills was home to 2,000 inhabitants with an average age of 35 years. Almost all were born in Australia, England or New Zealand with English spoken as their sole language at home.
