Edens Landing (4207)
Located 33 km to Brisbane’s south, Edens Landing was founded only recently when in 1984 Henry Edens, a timber getter, contracted for Leighton Holdings to clear, subdivide and develop the land. A football club was formed in 1993 and a school founded in 1997. Today Edens Landing has several small neighbourhood shopping centres with supermarkets, cafes and medical facilities and is well serviced by both regular bus and rail transport to Logan City and Beenleigh.
In 2011, 5200 people lived in Edens Landing, their average age is 31 years. Almost all residents were Anglo-Australian, speaking English almost exclusively at home.
