Located 33 km to Brisbane’s south at the juncture of the Logan And Albert Rivers with the Pacific Motorway on its western boundary, Eagleby (4207) has a post office, state school, neighbourhood shopping village, local pub and wastewater treatment plant.
It does have a bus service but this does not provide for most of the homes. Rather, Eagleby relies upon adjoining suburbs for bus and rail services. In 2011, nearly 12000 people lived in Eagleby, their average age is 33 years. Most residents were anglo-Australian with a minority born in the Philippines.
