Structural Timber Pest Damage

Timber in service as structurel componants of a building can be damaged by timber pests. the damage can range from minor localised damage to major damage which can affect the integrity of the building and may result in dangerous situations.

The ABIS inspection identifies damage associated with timber pests such as fungal decay and termite activity in all the readily accessible and visible structural timber elements of the building. The location, severity and a recommendations are covered in the Building Report. The type of pest, and recommendations for pest management are covered in the seperate Timber Pest Report.
