The ABIS library is a collection of useful reference material relating to buildings and their problems as well as timber pests such as termites.

The library is a combination of material written by ABIS as a result of our own research and practical experience together with useful information gleaned from other authoritative sources.

 

Springy Underfoot

Springiness underfoot occurs where there is excessive deformation (sagging or bowing) in timber flooring commonly where flooring support has dropped or where the flooring itself has become deformed by cupping.
