The ABIS library is a collection of useful reference material relating to buildings and their problems as well as timber pests such as termites.

Small 1.5mm round holes.  Tunnels usually follow grain

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fine, talc like powder packed solid in tunnels

Sapwood of hardwood.  Mainly as timber dries or when recently seasoned, rarely active in older timbers.  Damage to timbers is usually minor.
