Library

The ABIS library is a collection of useful reference material relating to buildings and their problems as well as timber pests such as termites.

The library is a combination of material written by ABIS as a result of our own research and practical experience together with useful information gleaned from other authoritative sources.

 

Pier

Piers are  vertical structures made from brick, concrete, block, stone, timber or steel which support floor structures. An engaged pier is a pier that is bonded to or partially built into a wall. An isolated pier is separate from a wall.
