The ABIS library is a collection of useful reference material relating to buildings and their problems as well as timber pests such as termites.

The library is a combination of material written by ABIS as a result of our own research and practical experience together with useful information gleaned from other authoritative sources.

 

Ledge Door

A Ledge Door consists of multiple vertical planks fixed together by two horizontal planks (the ledges) for reinforcement. The vertical boards are tongue and grooved to stop draughts and the edges chamfered to relieve the plain appearance.
