The ABIS library is a collection of useful reference material relating to buildings and their problems as well as timber pests such as termites.

The library is a combination of material written by ABIS as a result of our own research and practical experience together with useful information gleaned from other authoritative sources.

 

Eave

The eaves are the lower part of a roof or the overhang of the rafters which projects beyond the face of the external walls. An eave can be lined with a soffit or be unlined with the underside of the roofing exposed.
